Welcome to AYSO Region 728! We are region number 728 of the AYSO organization. Our players come from the Ferndale, Greater Johnstown and Westmont areas. The normal season starts in spring and tournament games continue into the summer. All player skill levels are welcome.
Please remember that shin guards are required for all practices. It is also helpful if your child has his/her own soccer ball and extremely important to have water to drink. We ask and appreciate your efforts in getting your child to practice on time and arriving at least 5 minutes early to pick them up.
As a reminder to all parents, please use your discretion in regards to sending your child to AYSO practice. If it is raining, snowing, or sleeting use your best judgment. Your child's attendance at practice does not influence his/her opportunities to play during the season. Individual coaches may call to cancel their practices, but your Board does not cancel all practices on any given day. However, once AYSO games begin, we may cancel all games due to weather or field conditions. Only, In the event that all games are cancelled, I will post that information on our web site and on all of the local radio stations.
During the season if you have any questions please note that the Board members telephone numbers are listed in this newsletter. We will return your call ASAP. Please remember that everyone on the board is a volunteer. We enjoy are positions but have families also, I am requesting that phone calls not occur after 8PM.
